Fashion designer Max Azria has a 30,000-square-foot estate on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, named Maison du Soleil, listed now by Alla Furman , it was built in the 1930s by architect Paul Williams, and just like its owners, the home has serious style. In the two-story foyer, there’s a grand double staircase and a floor-to-ceiling waterfall chandelier made from over 150,000 crystals. Voluminous reception rooms, flowing seamlessly from one to the next, look out over the grounds. Another way to take in the view: the sweeping terraces on two levels, which span the length of the home. There’s a formal dining room, a 6,000-square-foot movie theater, a Moroccan hammam, a large gym, 17 bedrooms, and a guesthouse.
